Gideon Argov

Experience
Gideon Argov is President and CEO of Entegris, a global supplier of materials integrity management products used in the production of high technology components and substrates. From 2001 to 2004 he was a Managing Director of Parthenon Capital, a private equity partnership based in Boston. From 1991 to 2000 he was Chairman, President and CEO of Kollmorgen Corporation, a supplier of high performance electronic motion control products. From 1988 to 1991 he was CEO of High Voltage Engineering Corporation. From 1983 to 1988 he was a consultant and manager at Bain and Company.
Mr. Argov is an International director of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. He is the founder of the Shlomo Argov Fellows program at IDC Herzliya. He is also a trustee of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as well as a Member of the Corporation of Draper Laboratory, Cambridge Massachusetts. Gideon serves as Chairman of the Board of Fundtech, and as a director of Interline Brands and XRITE. Mr. Argov is a member of the New England Chapter of YPO International.
Mr. Argov served as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces for four years. He graduated from Harvard University (Economics, Magna Cum Laude) and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Argov lives in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife Alexandra Fuchs and his four children.
