Experience
David C. Weinstein recently retired after a 23 year career as a business executive and corporate lawyer at Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States. He joined Fidelity's Boston headquarters as a corporate lawyer, became Chief of Administration, managing the company's legal, real estate, human resources, auditing, accounting, security and compliance operation, and leading the firm's government relations efforts in Washington, DC and the 50 states.
Among his many activities, Mr. Weinstein is engaged with not-for-profit institutions, especially in the education field. He chairs the Boston College Law School board of overseers and serves on the boards of Bryant University, Belmont Hill School, Reading Is Fundamental, John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, President's Advisory Committee on the Arts, and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. Mr. Weinstein is a graduate of Boston University and Boston College Law School. He and his wife, Clare, reside in Newton, MA with their son, Matthew.
