Free: New Case Study Examines Geopolitics, Volatility in Global Oil Markets

Produced by Securing America's Future Energy (SAFE) and in collaboration with the Belfer Center, the Oil ShockWave™ College Curriculum package will include all of the materials needed to conduct an energy crisis simulation in your classroom. The exercise is based on Oil ShockWave™, SAFE's one-of-a-kind oil crisis simulation, which has featured participants such as Defense Secretary Robert Gates and R. James Woolsey, former director of the CIA. The free box set includes multimedia components, background materials, and an instructor's manual, and will make the national and economic security lessons of Oil ShockWave available to students throughout the country.

The box set is provided free of charge for use in educational settings and is designed for individuals teaching a variety of classes, from courses dealing with energy and the environment to those focusing on national security, crisis management and international relations.
