The 2009 Camden Conference, Global Leadership and the U.S. Role in World Affairs, will focus on the myriad of issues facing our new president. Numerous pundits are saying that Obama has the fullest in-box of any president in recent history. Now, just one month after he takes office, nine world-class foreign policy experts will assemble to help us understand the challenges facing the United States and the new administration.

- Nicholas Burns, Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy and International Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School and former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs and Ambassador to NATO and Greece;
- Denis Lamb, Former U.S. Representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

- Nayan Chanda of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization and former editor of the Hong Kong-based Far Eastern Economic Review and Asian Wall Street Journal Weekly;
