About

Dr. Kumar holds a Doctorate in Law and Masters in Philosophy in International Law. He was elected to the Parliament of India in May 2002 and has served on several committees related to energy, finance, information technologies, and commerce. He has written several articles in newspapers and magazines on law, economic reforms, elections, democracy, international affairs, and has been extensively interviewed in the print and electronic media including BBC, CNN, UN Radio (New York), and on political issues with the Washington Post, Le Monde, Los Angeles Guardian and the Times (London).
