Renewable Energy in Africa: Public Private Partnerships for Sustainability

About

The winners of the 2007 Roy Award for Environmental Partnership, Hybrid Systems for Rural Electrification in Africa (HRSEA), will discuss the innovative project that provides reliable, renewable electricity to rural African villages through a system of solar panel technology combined with modified diesel engines running on plant oil from the locally cultivated jatropha nut. This seminar is a unique opportunity to learn how public private partnerships are successfully developed and managed from the directors of Energiebau and InWEnt and representatives from rural African organizations.
