Matthew Mcallester won a Pulitzer in 1997 for his coverage of the TWA 800 crash, and he subsequently covered and wrote a book about the war in Kosovo.  While reporting from Baghdad during the 2003 war he was kidnapped and incarcerated in Iraq's most feared prison.  His new book about human rights conditions in Iraq before, during, and after that war, titled "Blinded by the Sunlight", is soon to be published by HarperCollins.
