About

?Restarting and Sustaining Growth and Development in Africa? is the largest component of the USAID-funded research program, Equity and Growth through Economic Research in Africa (EAGER), involving five country volumes and a volume on cross-cutting themes. Prof. Kimenyi, on leave from the University of Connecticut Economics Department, heads Kenya?s new public-sector think tank and is editing the Kenya Restarting Growth volume. Prof. Semboja, on leave from the University of Dar es Salaam Economics Department, heads the Tanzanian Restarting Growth team and directs a center researching sources and remedies for poverty in Tanzania.
