Erik Dahl and Erica Chenoweth are pleased to announce an informal terrorism studies discussion group. The two purposes of this group are 1) to read and discuss recent works in the field of terrorism studies, and 2) to provide a forum for networking of terrorism scholars.
The topic of discussion will be two articles from the most recent issue of International Security: Cronin’s "How Al-Qaeda Ends," (.pdf) and Kydd and Walter’s "Strategies of Terrorism" (.pdf). Future meeting dates and readings will be discussed with participants. Monthly meetings are anticipated.
