General Tilelli became President and Chief Executive Officer of the USO on March 1, 2000. He retired from the United States Army on January 31, 2000, after 37 years of service. Prior to his retirement, General Tilelli served as Commander-in-Chief of the United Nations Command, Republic of Korea/United States Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea. He served in Korea from July 1996 through December 1999.
