Clüver Ashbrook on Kavanaugh Hearings: "If There Is One Big Loser, It Is The American Political System"
Cathryn Clüver, Executive Director of the Belfer Center's Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship, spoke with Germany's National Public Radio Deutschlandfunk about the Nomination and Confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court.
During the show, that was produced shortly before the final vote on Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation, Clüver said that, "if there is one big loser of these past two weeks, it is the American political system."
She further added, that is was historic moment to have a supreme court judge, who openly identified during the hearings as being aligned with one particular political party, as she explained.
