Evan Perkoski, International Security Program Research Fellow, Wins Patricia Weitsman Award

International Security Program Research Fellow Evan Perkoski, a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania, is the 2015 winner of the Patricia Weitsman Award for Outstanding International Security Studies Section Graduate Paper.  He received this award at the recent Annual Meeting of the International Studies Association, which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from February 18–21, 2015.

Project Director Robert Stavins noted at a COP-20 event that the U.S.-China announcement begins the real fulfillment of the promise of the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action.

The Harvard Project Presence at COP-20

The Harvard Project on Climate Agreements cohosted two official side-events at the Twentieth Conference of the Parties (COP-20) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which was held in Lima, Peru, in December 2014. In addition, Project Director Robert N. Stavins was a panelist at two other events at COP-20.

Harvard's Joseph Nye Receives Honor in Japan

Emperor Akihito of Japan presented Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor Joseph S. Nye with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, at the Imperial Palace on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in recognition of his "contribution to the development of studies on Japan-U.S. security and to the promotion of the mutual understanding between Japan and the United States."
