Professor John P. Holdren Interviewed on the Response of U.S. Business to Climate Change
in Ahead of the Curve: Business Responds to Climate Change, a Sea Studios Foundation Video
Overview
"We talk about tipping points in the climate itself. But there are also tipping points in public life, and I think that we are at a tipping point in terms of the business community’s approach to this problem." — John P. Holdren
Sea Studios Foundation, an organization of filmmakers, scientists, and strategic communicators dedicated to raising environmental literacy and motivating action in the United States and internationally to address urgent threats to the Earth's health, has interviewed U.S. business leaders as well as Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program Director John P. Holdren for "Ahead of the Curve: Business Responds to Climate Change" — a video about how U.S. corporations are responding to the challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining competitiveness and profitability.
The interviewees address energy efficiency, alternative energies, government regulation, and consumer demand for "green" products and how U.S. businesses have been addressing these issues in their business strategies in order to grow, compete successfully, and prosper in a greenhouse gas–constrained world.
