The TSA (And All Its Baggage)

| September 1, 2015

A Security Mom Podcast

Traveling isn't fun. And perhaps no one gets more blame for that than the TSA. Adding insult to injury, the TSA has been in the news lately for less-than-ideal reasons: In June, it came out that airport screeners failed 67 of 70 tests that the Department of Homeland Security's Inspector General administered.

In stepped Peter Neffenger as the new administrator. Neffenger spent most of his career at the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired as the number 2 in the whole organization — then two days later, took the helm of an agency that most of us know as one that creates long lines, when we're already pretty cranky.
