ORGANIZATION AND PERSONNEL

Administration

Leadership and management of the Center were provided by a five-member directing staff:

Paul Doty, Director of CSIA and Mallinckrodt Professor of Biochemistry; Michael Nacht, Associate Director of CSIA and Associate Professor of Public Policy in the Kennedy School of Government; Steven Miller, Assistant Director of CSIA and Managing Editor of International Security; Dorothy Zinberg, Director of Seminars and Special Projects of CSIA and Lecturer in Public Policy in the Kennedy School of Government; and Albert Carnesale, Senior Faculty Research Associate of CSIA, Professor of Public Policy, and Academic Dean of the Kennedy School of Government.

Advisory Committee

Guidance and direction were provided through individual communications with members of the Center''s Advisory Committee.

Supporting Staff

The administrators and research staff were aided by a competent supporting staff. Lis Bernstein, CSIA Librarian, administered the 4,000 volume library, assisted by Linda Norton. Melissa Healy served as Assistant Managing Editor of the Center''s journal, International Security, through mid-April. In April, Lynn Whittaker and Lis Bernstein assumed the responsibilities of Assistant Managing Editors of the journal. Administrative assistance for the Center was provided by Gina Latimer and Daryl Battin. Secretarial services were provided by Margaret Hanson, Nancy Horton, Susan Kazmaier, Mary Ann Spano-Wells, Marian Turner, and Lynn Whittaker.
