During the Future of Diplomacy Project's 2017 'Europe Week' series, diplomats, scholars, and policymakers visited the Kennedy School to examine Europe's greatest challenges.

Ambassador Stephen W. Bosworth, a Belfer Center senior fellow, former ambassador, and long-time public servant, died on January 4, 2016.

In announcing Bosworth's passing, Belfer Center Director Graham Allison said, "We learned the sad news today that our friend and colleague Steve Bosworth died last night peacefully at home in hospice care. A great American public servant, Steve had an extensive career in the United States Foreign Service, including service as Ambassador to Tunisia, the Philippines, and the Republic of Korea."

The Project on Managing the Atom offers fellowships for pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, and mid-career researchers for one year, with a possibility for renewal, in the stimulating environment of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School. The online application for 2016-2017 fellowships opened December 15, 2015, and the application deadline is January 15, 2016. Recommendation letters are due by February 1, 2016.
