Center Prepares Dossier for Seoul Nuclear Summit

Spring 2012

When President Barack Obama hosted nearly 50 heads of state in Washington, D.C. for the first global Nuclear Security Summit in 2010, the Belfer Center made available to the leaders and their sherpas a range of relevant background materials and information. With the arrival of the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit, the Center created www.nuclearsummit.org – an online Nuclear Security Summit dossier.

Volcker, Holdren Headline International Council Debate of Critical Issues

Paul Volcker and John Holdren headlined the annual meeting of the Belfer Center International Council. Volcker, chair of President Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board, launched a thought-provoking discussion of "The American Economy, the Global Economy, and the Financial Order." Holdren provided an insightful look into the Administration's policies regarding science and technology.
