Hyunseok Lee

Hyunseok Lee is an MPP candidate at Harvard Kennedy School. Hyunseok is an officer in the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army. He graduated from the United States Military Academy as an international cadet with a BS in Systems Engineering and Management. After graduation, Hyunseok commissioned into the ROK Army. During the service, Hyunseok successfully completed his leadership positions as a DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) reconnaissance platoon leader and an Infantry Company Commander. He also had staff experiences of serving as an aide-de-camp and as a liaison officer in the senior US Army Command in Korea. Hyunseok is interested in international security with a special focus on East Asia and nuclear proliferation in North Korea.
