Tribute to John White: A Close Friend, A Great Leader, A Noble Man

Belfer Center Director Ash Carter honors his friend, colleague, and distinguished public servant John P. White, "a noble man who embodied all that is good and decent in public life." John White, a former Deputy Secretary of Defense who taught at Harvard Kennedy School and was a member of the Belfer Center's Board of Directors, passed away September 3, 2017, at the age of 80.
