Please join the Environment and Natural Resources Program (ENRP) for our next Global Energy Transition Talk featuring Ernesto Ciorra, Enel's Chief Innovability Officer. Ciorra will discuss the role of the private sector in driving innovation and facilitating the sustainable energy transition. ENRP Senior Fellow Nicola De Blasio will moderate the discussion.

Q&A with students to follow. Buffet lunch will be served.

Ecuador's Ecological Transition: A Conversation with Minister Gustavo Manrique Miranda

Please join the Environment and Natural Resources Program (ENRP) for our next Global Energy Transition Talk featuring Gustavo Manrique Miranda, Ecuador's Minister of the Environment, Water and Ecological Transition. Minister Manrique will discuss the process of the creation of the Hermandad Marine Reserve encircling the Galápagos Islands, in the context of the Ecological Transition policy adopted by the administration of H.E. President Guillermo Lasso. ENRP Senior Fellow Nicola De Blasio will moderate the discussion.

Q&A with students to follow. Light refreshments will be served.

The challenge of leveraging the advantages of plastic without contributing to the world's environmental crisis is formidable. However, it opens an opportunity to address sustainability at a systemic level through circularity and encourage innovation and integration along the plastics value chain. 

Please join the Environment and Natural Resources Program for our next Global Energy Transition Talk about the future of sustainable plastics. Nicola De Blasio, Senior Fellow at ENRP, and Phoebe Fallon, Harvard College student, will present the findings of their report, Avoiding a Plastic Pandemic: The Future of Sustainability in a Post COVID-19 World. Blake Bextine, Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and Alessio Lorusso, founder and CEO of Roboze, will serve as respondents. Q&A to follow.
