Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center enthusiastically welcomes back Ambassador Laura Holgate, who began her career at the Center in 1990. Holgate, who joins the Belfer Center as a Senior Fellow, was until January Ambassador and U.S. Representative to United Nations-Vienna and International Atomic Energy Agency. Previously, she served in the Obama administration as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism and Threat Reduction where she also played a major role in planning all four Nuclear Security Summits.

Former Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz is joining Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs as a senior fellow. 

Harvard Kennedy School’s Future of Diplomacy Project is proud to name Jake Sullivan a Senior Fellow. He will share his expertise with Kennedy School students and fellows through seminars and study groups on campus, and contribute to the Project’s goal of advancing the public understanding of diplomacy and its practice for the United States. The Future of Diplomacy Project is part of the Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

Hudson, a preeminent senior scholar of the Middle East, will join the HKS community this semester as the Spring 2015 Kuwait Foundation Visiting Scholar.

The Middle East Initiative (MEI) at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs today announced the selection of the spring 2014 Kuwait Foundation Visiting Scholar, Dr.Mohamad Al-Ississ. Al-Ississ will be in residence at Harvard for the Spring 2014 semester, where he will conduct a research project that seeks to formulate a better understanding of the Arab World post-Arab Spring.
