The Belfer Center Studies in International Security book series is edited at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and published by the MIT Press. The series publishes books on contemporary issues in international security policy, as well as their conceptual and historical foundations. Topics of particular interest to the series include the spread of weapons of mass destruction, internal conflict, the international effects of democracy and democratization, and U. S. defense policy.

Harvard Project on Climate Agreements Discussion Paper Series and Related Research

The Harvard Project on Climate Agreements is supporting more than twenty-seven research projects from leading thinkers around the world, including from Europe, China, Japan, India, Australia, and the United States. These projects range in topic from complete architectures to succeed the Kyoto Protocol, to proposed solutions to specific problems climate negotiators face, such as facilitating technology transfer to developing countries, preventing deforestation, and enforcing a global climate agreement.

The Harvard Project on Climate Agreements prepares two-page summaries of many of its discussion papers, with the goal of making these papers more accessible to policy makers, leaders in business and non-governmental organizations, and other interested readers.
