Deborah Hurley, Director of the Harvard Information Infrastructure Project, chaired this year''s Conference on Computers, Freedom and Privacy (CFP) in early March. CFP is the leading policy conference for exploring the impact of the Internet, computers and communications technologies on society.
Each year, key members of the technical, government, business, education, non-profit, legal, law enforcement, security, media and hacker/cracker communities gather together to address cutting edge questions in computing, freedom, and privacy. The themes this year were the future of computing and freedom and privacy.
