The Belfer Center''s Harvard Information Infrastructure Project (HIIP) has developed a teaching case study examining the Community Access Program (CAP) of Canada. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) approached HIIP about preparing a series of teaching cases related to information and communication technologies after seeing HIIP''s recent cases on the U.S. Social Security Administration and Canada''s Strategy for the Information Highway. The case will be used in the TELECOM Development Symposium and will be circulated to policy makers and regulators in ITU member nations. The case will also be presented at ITU Policy and Strategies Workshops, in preparation for the ITU World Telecommunication Policy Forums, and employed in the ITU Centers of Excellence initiative.
