Khaled Ghaleb

Khaled Ghaleb is a Fellow with the Middle East Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. His research interests include public policy, digital governance, leadership, education, health and well-being, sport, and strategic partnerships.

Khaled recently earned a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on public leadership, technology governance, and evidence-based policymaking. During his time at Harvard, he served as a Teaching Assistant for Storytelling Strategies: Data Visualization, supporting students in communicating complex policy and data insights through effective storytelling. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management.

Prior to joining MEI, Khaled spent eight years at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, most recently serving as an Associate in Strategy and Partnerships. He led and supported strategic partnerships with government entities, private organizations, and community stakeholders while contributing to initiatives that enhanced patient experience, improved clinical operations, and strengthened organizational performance. Khaled is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, where he collaborated with fellow young leaders on initiatives focused on sustainability, youth engagement, and community impact. He also represented the United Arab Emirates in the Ship for World Youth (SWY) program in Japan, an international leadership initiative that brings together emerging leaders from around the world to foster cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.

At MEI, Khaled is particularly interested in exploring how governments can strengthen institutional leadership, advance digital governance, and design more integrated, citizen-centered public services. His work also explores education policy, cross-sector partnerships, and policies that promote health, well-being, and sport. Through his fellowship, he hopes to contribute research that informs policy and institutional reform in the United Arab Emirates while offering insights that are relevant across the Middle East.
