Sabrina Roshan

Sabrina Roshan is a seasoned impact investing professional with experience at the intersection of economic security, emerging technology, and public-private partnerships. She leads America’s Frontier Fund (AFF) Foundation, where her work focuses on the role of the United States in global industrial policy and on harnessing emerging technologies to advance economic opportunity and broader societal impact. She leads efforts focused on economic resilience, training skilled workers, building regional innovation hubs, shaping global partnerships with U.S. allies, and driving alignment between policy makers, founders, and funders through convenings. Previously, she led AFF's nonprofit initiative Global Frontiers, dedicated to harnessing America’s innovation for global good through technology diplomacy. Her work also includes serving as Fractional COO of the Partnership for Digital Access in Africa (PDAA), which uses public-private partnerships to expand affordable internet access, improve device affordability, and strengthen digital skills across Africa, particularly for women and girls.

Sabrina previously served as a Senior Director at Schmidt Futures, where she led talent development initiatives, including the Technologists for Global Transformation program, which identified, developed, and deployed early-career technologists to tackle complex global challenges. She held leadership roles at an emerging markets-focused startup and a Silicon Valley venture studio dedicated to incubating innovations aimed at advancing socioeconomic development and ecological sustainability across the developing world. 

Her experience includes significant contributions at the World Bank, where she supported the Office of the U.S. Executive Director. She also worked on institutional capacity building, anti-corruption, and improving public sector service delivery in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sabrina began her career working on education sector capacity-building programs in Afghanistan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is a former Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Development.
