Erik Dalaker

Erik Dalaker is a BA candidate in Economics and a BA/MA candidate in Modern Middle East Studies at Harvard University, from Rennesøy, Norway. His research interests lie at the intersection of geopolitics and economics, and he is currently writing his thesis on the sovereign wealth funds of the Gulf states and their investments in the AI ecosystem. He is passionate about diplomacy and international development. While at Harvard, he founded the Global Affairs Program of the Harvard Institute of Politics. Erik currently serves as a Research Assistant for Ambassador Edward Djerejian and Dr. Salam Fayyad at Harvard Kennedy School's Middle East Initiative. Previously, he worked in Doctors Without Borders, the Policy and Society Institute of Jordan, the European Commission, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
