Applications for the Fall 2026 Intelligence Study Group (ISG) are now open! ISG is designed for Harvard students considering careers in government or the private sector as well as those interested in a broad introduction to intelligence. Sessions run 4:30-5:30 PM every Wednesday, from September 9 through December 2, 2026.

New Report on Hezbollah’s Evolution and Future: Our newest report, Whither Hezbollah? A Reassessment of Identity, Crisis, and Survival on the Path to a Third Open Letter, by Alumni Fellow Tal Cohen, analyzes the ideological, operational, and logistical challenges confronting Hezbollah following the dramatic events of 2023–2026. This brief study assesses whether Hezbollah might produce a document akin to a “Third Open Letter,” and what might hypothetically appear in such a document.

The Intelligence Project seeks to build a new generation of intelligence practitioners prepared to serve in a rapidly changing world and to help future policymakers and intelligence consumers understand how best to interact with intelligence to gain a decision advantage. Building on multi-disciplinary research at the Belfer Center, from history to geopolitics to emerging technologies, the Intelligence Project links intelligence agencies with Belfer researchers, Faculty, and Kennedy School students, to enrich their education and support public policy decision-making.
