Belfer Center Directors' Lunch "Afghanistan: Are we Winning or Losing the 'Other' War?" with Ambassador Robert Finn, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

Currently, Ambassador Finn is the Ertegun Visiting Professor in the Near East Studies Department of Princeton University. He also served as the Ertegun Professor in the Near East Studies Department of Princeton University in between his years of service as Ambassador to Tajikistan and then Afghanistan. Other diplomatic postings include Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir in Turkey, Lahore in Pakistan, and Zagreb, Croatia. He also opened the U.S. embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1992.

Ambassador Finn has also published many poems and translations, in addition to his book, The Early Turkish Novel.
