Afghanistan: Open Dialogue Seminar

Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Events in Afghanistan have been dominating the news lately, with elections, troop decisions, and Taliban activity all featured prominently.  As a result, our next session of the Open Dialogue, which will be next Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. in L369, will feature MPP '11 Sumit Sood, who has covered and traveled to Afghanistan since 2007 and will provide an introductory brief on some of the essential issues relevant to our future policy.  We will then open the floor to questions and general discussion.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

If you have particular questions you'd like answered, please respond to us by Monday, November 16 and we'll do our best to answer.

In the future, topics of discussion will be based on participants' experiences in the country or in their work related to the country. We hope to make this an open, comfortable venue for students and fellows to share their thoughts about everything from security issues to civil society to governance.

Please join us as we discuss this important issue.
