After the Storm: Recovery & Resiliency
HKS faculty member Juliette Kayyem and PBS and CNN reporter Miles O’Brien recently finished a documentary, American Tornadoes: Minutes to Survive, Years to Rebuild -the third in their award winning series on disasters for MyRadar, with segments also running on NOVA and PBS Newshour. In it, they explore how Oklahoma is preparing for and responding to tornadoes. Centered around an expert panel discussion, and including excerpts from the documentary, the discussion will focus how to think about and prepare for the many natural disaster recoveries ahead.
This event will be conducted under Chatham House Rules.
