The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is proud to host a Director's Lunch on “The Arab-Israeli Conflict: Good Choices and Bad Choices” with Meir Shlomo, Consul General of Israel to New England. He began this four year appointment in September 2002.
Throughout his more than 20 years of diplomatic experience with the Foreign Ministry of Israel, he has served in numerous positions, including the Communications Director of the Department for Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. He has also held positions in El Salvador, Peru, Denmark and India where he served as Deputy Chief of Mission during the crucial time in the newly established relationship between the two countries.
