About

In a little more than a century since airpower first provided logistical support to campaigning field armies, its importance to U.S. power projection has only increased.  Across the key elements of national power, airpower plays a critical if often overlooked role in wide-ranging supply operations from global humanitarian crises to the nation’s military engagements.

This seminar offers a framework for assessing the effectiveness of such operations and examines scenarios where airpower both succeeded—and failed—in order for practitioners and policymakers alike to gain insight into the limits of air mobility forces in strategy development and execution.
