Student/Fellows Session led by Ambassador Burns, who has spent most of his career in the U.S. Foreign Service. He will discuss what the career entails and the rewards and costs of taking such a path.

As Under Secretary of Political Affairs since March 2005, Ambassador Nick Burns is the Department of State’s third ranking official. In this position, he oversees U.S. policy worldwide.
