The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs will host a Director's Lunch with David S. Cohen, former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in the Belfer Center Library (L369).
David S. Cohen recently served as Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (2015-2017). As the Agency’s second-in-command, he helped manage the CIA’s domestic and worldwide operations and oversee its strategic modernization. Previously, Mr. Cohen served in the United States Treasury Department as the Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (2011-2015), and prior to that as the Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing (2009-2011), where he developed and implemented financial sanctions against Iran, Russia, North Korea and terrorist organizations. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at WilmerHale in Washington, DC. Mr. Cohen received his law degree from Yale Law School (1989) and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University (1985).
