A Conversation with Peter Baker and Susan Glasser

Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students
RSVP

Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a conversation with Harvard Institute of Politics Fellows Peter Baker, Chief White House Correspondent for The New York Times, and Susan Glasser, Staff Writer at The New Yorker. Married co-authors of three books, they will discuss the changing landscape of U.S. domestic and foreign policy in the second Trump administration and the role of journalists amidst increased political polarization and attacks on free speech.

Peter Baker covers the president and his administration, which intersects with a wide variety of domestic, economic, political, national security and foreign policy issues. Having covered the White House over the past six presidencies, he often focuses on analytical pieces attempting to place the news in a larger context and historical framework. Susan Glasser has served as the top editor of several Washington publications, including Politico and Foreign Policy. Before that, she worked for a decade at the Washington Post, where she was the editor of Outlook and national news.

The seminar will be moderated by Belfer Center Director Meghan O'Sullivan, Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School.

Attendance is in-person and for HUID holders only. Space is limited, so please only RSVP if you plan to attend.

Submitting your registration does not confirm your attendance. If you are confirmed to attend this event, you will receive an email from a member of the Belfer Center Operations Team with arrival details ahead of the event.
