The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is proud to host a Director's Seminar entitled "Defending our Homeland: The Roles of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and U.S. Northern Command" with Lt. General Ralph E. Eberhart, Commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

Lt. General Eberhart has served our country for more than 36 years in a wide variety of positions. Prior to serving in his current position as Commander, he served as Commander in Chief, United States Space Command. He has also served as the Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, Commander, Air Combat Command, and Commander, Air Force Space Command.

Lt. General Eberhart has commanded a flight, squadron, wing, numbered air force and two major commands, as well as one sub-unified command, two unified commands and one bi-national command.
