Defense Innovation Unit and U.S. Strategic Advantage: The Enduring Legacy of Ash Carter

RSVP Required Harvard Faculty, Fellows, Staff, and Students

Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a conversation on the defense technology revolution, paths forward, and the groundbreaking legacy of Ash Carter, the former U.S. Secretary of Defense and Belfer Center Director whose vision reset the relationship between Silicon Valley and the Pentagon. Christopher Kirchhoff, emerging technology expert, and Raj M. Shah, technology entrepreneur and venture capitalist, will discuss their work as founders of the Defense Innovation Unit, drawing on their book Unit X: How the Pentagon and Silicon Valley Are Transforming the Future of War. The discussion will be moderated by Stephanie Carter, founder of The Verse and wife of the late Secretary Carter.

Attendance is in-person and for HUID holders only. Space is limited so please only RSVP if you plan to attend.

Submitting your registration does not confirm your attendance. If you are confirmed to attend this event, you will receive an email from a member of the Belfer Center Operations Team with arrival details ahead of the event.
