The National Security Program and the Belfer Center are co-sponsors of a weekly study group to promote awareness of American military affairs. This discussion is open to all Harvard students. Lt Col Donn Yates will discuss the realities with respect to drone warfare from an operational standpoint as well as discuss the implications for this technology in the future. Lt Col Yates served as the 451st AEG Deputy Group Commander at Kandahar AFG where he oversaw USAF intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations for the Afghanistan theater of operations.
