Description Adrian Loader, chairman of Candax Energy and former senior executive at Shell Energy, will present an informal, free ranging lecture that will consider some of the energy challenges likely to confront the world after the 'credit crunch.' Against a backdrop of the core fundamentals, the session will raise a couple of key new uncertainties on the global landscape that are relevant to the energy sector. In this context, the implications of the resulting delayed investment in energy development for longer term supply and demand balances, energy prices and alternatives will be reviewed.
