Europe’s Energy Transition in a Geopolitical Storm
Join the Belfer Center, Brookings Institution and the Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos for a timely discussion of Europe’s path toward a clean energy future. European efforts to drive sustainable energy use while maintaining a secure and affordable supply—a difficult balance in the best of times—have only grown harder in light of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the changing U.S. posture in Europe, and other global developments. Experts will explore the European energy transition and the geopolitics buffeting it today.
The seminar will be moderated by Belfer Center Director Meghan O'Sullivan, Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School.
A reception will begin at 4:00pm before the discussion, which starts with a live stream at 4:30pm.
Attendance is in-person and for HUID holders only. Space is limited so please only RSVP if you plan to attend.
Submitting your registration does not confirm your attendance. If you are confirmed to attend this event, you will receive an email from a member of the Belfer Center Operations Team with arrival details ahead of the event.
