The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is hosting world-renowned think tank expert James McGann, Director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania, for a lunchtime talk and discussion.  Dr. McGann, a Senior Lecturer in International Studies at the Lauder Institute and Director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania, produces the annual Go To Think Tank Index, a ranking of more than 6,600 think tanks worldwide. McGann will review the rise of think tanks, examine their role in public policy formation, and discuss industry trends.
