Homeland Security: Everyone Has a Responsibility
Governor Gilmore as well as Governor Jim Geringer (WY) will be here for a conference entitled: "On the Front Line of Homeland Security: New Realities and New Solutions." The conference stems from work completed in the Gilmore Commission's report to congress and subsequent work under the National Council on Readiness and Preparedness (www.ncorp.org) and will be looking particularly at regional security during the first 72 hours of a crisis. The conference is managed by Professor Jerry Mechling's LNW program and will be bringing in approximately a 100 people - mayors, DOD, DHS, regional security/first responders.
