This working meeting is convening a group of scholars and practitioners who focus on the issues of the human trade with a similar group who focus on illicit trade in other areas and a third group of former or current practitioners tasked with combating illicit trade on the domestic and international levels. The project will encourage thinking about better approaches to the problem of the trade in humans by thinking beyond the trade in humans.
