The Middle East Initiative brings together members of the Harvard community to engage with issues pertinent to the Middle East with the goal of strengthening good governance, seeking solutions to regional public policy challenges, and deepening the Harvard Kennedy School's relationship with the peoples and institutions of the region. As the main interface between HKS and the Middle East, MEI serves five constituents: Harvard students; Harvard faculty; peoples and institutions in the region; the Harvard community/general public interested in the Middle East; and young scholarship on the region.
