Bjorn Fagersten will present ongoing research on multilateral intelligence cooperation. Looking at how such cooperation has evolved within different policy areas of the European Union, the speaker will discuss why states establish, and further develop, intelligence cooperation.

Bjorn Fagersten will present ongoing research on multilateral intelligence cooperation. Looking at how such cooperation has evolved within different policy areas of the European Union, the speaker will discuss why states establish, and further develop, intelligence cooperation. Preliminary findings suggest that factors such as institutional design and bureaucratic interests, rather than political ambitions, determine the success of cooperation.
