The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs will to host a Directors’ Lunch with Douglas Frantz & Catherine Collins on Monday, December 17th in the Belfer Center Library (L369)

Douglas Frantz is a senior writer at Conde Nast Portfolio. He is a former managing editor of the Los Angeles Times, where he also worked as a foreign correspondent in Istanbul and as an investigative reporter in Washington. Frantz is a former foreign correspondent and investigative reporter for the New York Times and a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist.

Catherine Collins is a writer based in Washington, D.C. She is a former reporter for the Chicago Tribune, covering Turkey and the Middle East. She has written articles for numerous publications, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Washington Post.

 

The Nuclear Jihadist, is the fifth nonfiction book written by Frantz and Collins, who are married. They spent nearly four years reporting and writing the book, which includes more than 100 interviews on four continents and access to previously unpublished, confidential documents from the International Atomic Energy Agency and other government agencies.
