As a diplomat, journalist, scholar and advisor to three Pakistani Prime Ministers, Ambassador Haqqani is uniquely positioned to comment on the importance of the U.S.-Pakistan relationship.  Hailed by Richard Holbrooke, the U.S. special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, as “one of the most skilled ambassadors,” Ambassador Haqqani has been an ardent advocate for democracy in Pakistan and we are excited to welcome him to the Kennedy School.
