The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is proud to host a Director’s Seminar on “Technology, Intelligence and National Security: A Vision of Agility" with Gilman Louie, Chief Executive Officer, In-Q-Tel.
In-Q-Tel is a private, non-profit enterprise funded by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Their mission is to identify and invest in cutting-edge technology solutions that serve U.S. national security interests.
Some of Mr. Louie’s technology successes have included the Falcon, F-16 flight simulator, and Tetris which he brought over from the Soviet Union.
In his role at In-Q-Tel, Mr. Louie has focused on refining and evolving In-Q-Tel’s innovative model, identifying and exploring new developments in technology, and recruiting and developing a team of technologists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and strategic visionaries.
