About

Seth N. Jaffe is Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at John Cabot University in Rome and an Associate Researcher at the Berlin Thucydides Center of the Freie Universität (FU) Berlin. He received his B.A. from Bowdoin College, his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, where he was the inaugural Bloom Memorial Fellow in Classical Thought. Jaffe has taught at Bowdoin College and the University of Toronto and is the author of Thucydides on the Outbreak of War: Character and Contest, which has just been published by Oxford University Press (2017).
